I think I've developed some sort of sadistic selfie ritual for whenever I buy a new camera
I can never get to grips with the focusing system on SLR's, I think my eyesights deteriorating lol.
I didn't realise how much post-processing was needed on film until today. Dust is a pisstake...
The anticipation of getting a new camera is always too much for me to handle and after getting my Mamiya on Thursday I had to use it as soon as. So today I went into college and shot a roll of ilford around Nottingham, the results weren't the best but my camera works - minus the snags when advancing film but its not really an issue. The images are okay, I guess, but nothing to spectacular plus I'm not sure how I feel about these overly large borders I keep adding to photos, it only really works when they're mounted and framed but I keep doing it in photoshop for some reason, maybe it works on websites... I dnno. Anyway I've already pre-loaded my camera with its second roll of film [some portra] so they should be taken and developed by monday, I hope.
I have to get up for work in four hours and I don't want to go to bed yet........
