Berlin 4th - 8th November

Bauhaus Museum

Kreuzberg

I've recently returned from my second trip to Berlin this year - my first being in August with my friend when I travelled Europe (Photos still need to be developed lol).
Anyway I went for a college trip with my photography class to try and get some interesting/different photos for our final pieces, that being said all of my images are completely different to my coursework and are mostly just for personal use. I wasn't that bothered about focusing on photography anyway, and treated it more like a city break, which was good because Berlin is my favourite city. So most of the time I just roamed around looking for nice cafes and shops.
The first day just consisted of the obvious sites such as the Berlin wall, Reichstag, Jewish memorial etc. which I didn't think I'd enjoy as I've already done but they were still really nice to see.
The second day I went to Kreuzberg which was awesome, definitely somewhere I wish I went to the first time round, loads of awesome record/book/clothe stores and with a lot of the architecture still retaining a post-soviet feel. I also visited Voo Store which is a must, its kind of a concept store with a really sweet cafe that does awesome coffee and really nice clothes with brands such as A.P.C., ACNE, Opening Ceremony and Nike but its quite pricey and I didn't buy anything.
After Kreuzberg I wanted to have a look around where I stayed last time which was near Friedrichstraße  and I managed to come across a Comme Des Garçons store which was so, so good and I nearly walked out with one of the Play shirts but managed to refrain myself.
Also checked out the Bauhaus Museum which again was really interesting and nice to walk around and I discovered a lot of new(old) interesting artists that I should probably already know about. Seeing as I was in Berlin I couldn't not see Tresor, an amazing club that I went to last time thats in like a warehouse... thing, that plays in-your-face dance music and the DJ's are behind cages, so one of the nights me and a few others went over to check it out and ended up staying till 7am jamming to heavy German techno which was pretty intense hahahaha.
